I am letting you all know so you dont think that I am totally lame and dont know how to post decent...sorry. If anyone knows why this is happening all of a sudden please help....thanks
may photos...
The month of may went by entirely too fast. I have some catching up to do but here are a few random photos of the kids.
I took a series of photos one afternoon in the back yard of Bay for his birthday invitation. Here is one of my favorites.
Makena has the smallest feet. I have given up on trying to buy footed pajamas. Because her feet are so small they dont stay in the foot part of the jammies at all. Here is the proof.
Why do we have baby toys when the things that are not toys are so much more interesting?
Hanging out on a hot summer day...
You would think that she would hate him constantly smothering her all the time...not so.This little girl loves the attention from her brother

Preparing for the Boise Half Iornman 70.3
Jeff has spent countless hours over the last few months training for his half Iornman race. Just a few days before his actual race he decided to take the plunge and test the waters at lucky peak where the were holding the race. The water temperature was rumored to be close to 60 degrees. Brrrr. Here are some picures of him preparng for his race...
On the dock.

Boise Half Iornman 70.3
Jeff completed his first half Iornman here in Boise last weekend. The conditions for the swim were absolutely horrible. It was blowing rain that felt like hail and it was around 35 degrees for the swim portion. You should have seen all the people in wetsuits just freezing to death as they waited to get in the water. It was so cold that the water was nearly 35 degrees warmer than it was outside, so when they got into the water it actually felt warm. I stood at the top of the mountain for 2 hrs without a rain jacket in the freezing cold. It was not fun but it was really special watching Jeff swim especially since I taught him how to swim. He has gotten really good at swimming. I am so proud of him. It wasn't but a year ago that he couldn't even put his head under the water without plugging his nose. The weather was so cold rainy and windy they had to shorten the bike portion from 50 miles to 15 because of the dangerous conditions and wind gusts of 35-40 mph. By the time everyone was done with the swim it was clearing up and mostly sunny. Still windy but the weather took a nice turn for the better. Jeff finished the entire race in just over 3 hrs. He did the 1.2 mile swim in about 40 mins. He was amazing. Here are some pictures from the race.
